About HB Good
The History
In 1943, my father, Herbert G. Good, Plastering Contractor, started this business with a truck, a hawk and a trowel. He gave birth to a flourishing business which employed up to 27 plasterers and laborers at one time. Most of the older Columbus, Ohio buildings (both residential and commercial) were either plastered or stuccoed by the Good Plastering company.
Today, HB Good and Sons Plastering Contractor
I, H. Brian Good, the youngest son of Herbert Good am now the proprietor and contractor and I have been blessed with three sons: H. Brian Jr., Ty and Tim. Together we are carrying on the legacy of Good, Quality, and Fairly Priced work. We are continuing my father’s legacy of providing our customers with the best in product, skill, and labor. We make every attempt to accommodate our customers. We are not pleased with our work until you are!
We stand behind our work and if there is a problem or a need to revisit our work, that becomes top priority and always has been. Due to inclement and extreme weather, the absorption of moisture and/or too hot or dry climate may alter the finished product.
Time and experience has taught us to expand our areas of expertise to incorporate not only better methods of operating but as well, to cultivate new products as we function to supply based on customer demand. For that reason, we now paint, we hang and finish drywall and we focus on the design finishes to meet customer specifications.
